Golden Goose aka Turmeric Milk.

The Golden Goose is brought to you by the creative folk behind 'The Velo Project', Sarah and David Nash. During the Urban Food Street verge grown turmeric give away, the duo hatched this recipe and served it as a weekend special in their Mooloolaba cafe. The Golden Goose was a golden hit of tasty goodness.
To get started you will need;
- 1 knob of fresh ginger
- 1 knob of fresh turmeric
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 cups of coconut milk.
Grate the turmeric and ginger into a bowl.
Add the grated turmeric and ginger mixture, honey, cinnamon and coconut milk to a blender and blend until combined.
Pour the blended mixture into a saucepan.
Heat until the milk starts to bubble, stirring as you go.
Allow to cool for a moment and then strain through a sieve into a jug.
Serve warm and dusted with cinnamon
Sit back, relax….. and drink mindfully.
